I purchased the l-35 as a compromise knowing I needed more power for my projects at home but size was an issue for tight access.I am having horsepower issues when using my 8" pto chipper, bush hog and 1,100 lb. scraper and was wondering about installing a turbocharger.I would love to trade up to an l-48 and have hst over the glide shift trans to boot but would rather invest in a compact dozer which could tackle the heavier jobs.I purchased a new toyota forklift so my tractor size isn't limited anymore.

From the sizes you have stated of two of your tools it is easy to see why you might like more horsepower. It is important to remember that many machines are rated by
pto horsepower not engine as most compact tractor manufacturers talk. ....
